Icewind Dale's the same - buh? Anyhow, the sale seems to be reducing these archaic games to more sensible prices, as well as some hefty discounts on more recent releases. They were charging $10 for a 15 year old game?! Good grief. It's funny how these sale prices do rather reveal how GOG's pricing set up is a little strange. The joyful Botanicula is down to just five bucks, and you can pick up the splendid Arcanum for just $3. We have every game from the GOG.com catalog available to download for free. Others may well last the course, like 60% off The Witcher 2, or Alan Wake at half price. Very much straight copying Steam's approach, some offers appear to be timed, such as getting a bunch of Bullfrog classics for $11.92 instead of $47.92. This freebie is intended to lure you in to spend more money at the site, as they've just launched their nonspecific Holiday Sale. Sure, it takes some of the thrill away, but at least you won't be destroying the games industry in 1996. I set the sound font's volume to 50%, and it's now fully adjustable through Duke3D itself.Do you want to play Duke Nukem 3D for free? Well, since it's increasingly difficult to get hold of it on floppy disc and copy it across, the most practical way to do this would be to just take it from GOG.com. Le istruzioni su come installarlo, sono contenute nellarchivio.DOWNLOAD:MediaFire. Apparently, the sound font's default volume overrides everything else.

Thanks for all of your hard work on this,Ĭoolsoft's VirtualMIDISynth did indeed have something to do with it. I AM using Coolsoft's Virtual MIDI Controller software, so, I don't know if that has any bearing on the issue, or what, but I figured I'd ask the developer first, just on the off chance that there might be something you (or, indeed, the rest of the community, as well) might be able to help with.

I was wondering if there's a way to make the launcher not launch a game or add-on after it's initially been installed, and if not, would it be possible to get an option added for that? As to the issue, I've tried just about everything I can, setting the MIDI volume inside the game(s), setting the volume through the Duke Nukem Setup program, all that, but no matter what I do, when I launch the game, the MIDI volume is at full blast, and I can't make it turn down. First off, love the launcher! It's been a joy to work with for the most part, which brings me to my question and a slight issue.
